About Us

DeDe's Gift, Inc. was founded by Rae Gibbons Majnarich, pictured at right in 2019 on her last day of radiation therapy for breast cancer. Rae founded this non-profit in an effort to help cover the cost of hospital parking for long-term patients.

The name DeDe is a nickname for one of Rae's dear friends, Docia Grimm, who passed away in February 2019 as a result of complications from radiation treatments she received 11 years prior. DeDe was incredibly dedicated to her family, her friends, her work, and her commitment to educating women on health and wellness. Her dedication continued throughout her cancer diagnosis and treatment and up until the very end of her life. She was truly a fighter. 

We honor DeDe's memory through these gifts to help pay for long-term hospital parking.
